i found expectation close to a white bougainvillea accompanied by two cyclamen and some succulents that were growing on my balcony, almost in my absence until then. When we shut up in our houses and the gaze turned to rest, it turned to the corner of my balcony, where a small artificial piece of nature revealed to me a real picture of the beautiful world I dreamed of living.

“Beauty will save the world” exclaims the sensitive and good-natured prince of Dostoyevsky’s work, and he certainly does not mean the external image. Fullness, moderation, inner peace is the essence of life.

Let this beauty of the natural world which has fullness, and knows the measure and which comes from the most distant past, mark our course in the distant future.
